Hi, is anyone aware of Mac software that can organize slides in a similar way that iPhoto organizes images?

I mean specifically the ability to have one huge set of slides ("photos") and being able to organize them into presentation ("albums") -- so the same slide can be linked to multiple presentations and changing it in one place results in having it updated in all other presentations as well.

Ideally, this software would make it possible to share your slide collection over the internet.

Hope this is on topic,

Marek

Keynote can do this.... kinda

Hi Marek,

I don't know of any software for the Mac that does what your asking. It's a great idea though. If your using Keynote, one option would be to make your slides Master slides. Once their are a master slide then you can access them in any new presentation. If you want to make a change to a slide permanent then you would edit the master. but if you just want to tweak it for just that presentation then you would drag and drop the master slide into your presentation and edit it with out it affecting the master.

If you it worked just like iPhoto then you wouldn't be able to have two version's of the same slide.

I hope this helps.
